That's fun you went see Lauren and Lindsay give their
mission talks. That's exciting for them! They WILL learn so much, people have
been asking us what we have learned in 18 months, and when I think about it,
it's mind blowing to see where I am at. I love changing, I hope I can keep
changing more!
That's amazing about my bridge! What a good analogy! It is
actually super good! I'm gonna be like my bridge! (Steadfast and immovable. Mosiah 5:15)
This last week we had full day meetings for both Tuesday and
Wednesday, and then lessons all those nights, so we didn't get to do much else.
They were great lessons, and we invited many people to change their lives to
follow the Savior and be baptized, and many accepted. Thursday we went
absolutely crazy, since we had cabin fever! We contacted so many people, tried
to set up lessons, and saw some really cool miracles. Friday we kept going, and
then Saturday we did exchanges. I was with Elder Nicholson, who is from New
Zealand. We saw some massive miracles together as we worked diligently. We
found 2 more people who desire baptism, and talked with one gentleman we are
teaching who is working to quit smoking. We invited him to read the Book of
Mormon instead of smoking when he had the urge, and he let us know he already
did that, he just replaced it with something else. He is older, so we gave him
a large print copy to read, and we saw him the next day at church, carrying it
around like it was the most precious thing he owned. I testify that the Book of
Mormon is precious, and powerful. I
know that its power comes becomes it is a true book that testifies of Christ,
and that it is because of Christ that we can do anything and everything. HE is
the power, and He will help us overcome all things in our life if we just come
unto Him. I love Him because He has healed me, continues to do so, and heals
all those around me!
I am grateful to be serving, I know it is changing my life!
I love you all So much!
Elder Adams
